Pick a computer

Work on the computer Muon Insight is running on, or name a remote computer. Remote runs use WinRM with your own signed-in Windows identity.

• If a remote connection fails, the Connection Tests page shows DNS, TCP, WS-Management and authorization results separately.
• Select several computers to run the same checks on all of them.
• A live dashboard shows CPU, memory and disk for the selected computer.

Run a check or a pack

Choose one of 55 modules, or one of 11 troubleshooting packs that run a curated set of modules in one go.

• Every module runs in its own process, separate from the app.
• You can cancel a task that's running.
• Your team can add its own modules and packs.

Read plain-language findings

Results come back as findings with a status and an explanation, not a wall of raw output. A rules engine does the interpreting.

Fix with confirmed actions

Findings suggest a fix. When the fix is an action, such as repairing DNS registration, resetting the print spooler or running DISM RestoreHealth, Muon Insight asks you to confirm before anything changes.

• 15 actions, each asking for explicit confirmation.
• Diagnostics stay read-only, so running a check is always safe.

Export a report

Save the results as JSON, CSV or a branded HTML report, or build a ZIP support bundle for an escalation. Redaction is configurable.
